Pickler born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June of 1986. She had an unhappy childhood. When she was two, her mother fled an abusive relationship. In 1995 she returned into the world of Pickler and was granted custody. But it didn't work out as planned. Pickler, then 12, was sent back to her parents after the Court. They took care of her till she was old enough to be an adult. Pickler due to the absence of her parents and older siblings, became too distracted in school to pursue studies. She revealed that she was no longer able to study and started learning the art of being a mom in her early years. Pickler participated in cheerleading at her middle and high schools. Pickler graduated in 2004 from North Stanly High School. Pickler has also been a beauty contestant. She was once named Miss Stanly County.
