Zoe-perry

Perry is the child of Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry (actor). Two of her earliest television appearances were Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother portrayed her role. Her parents, however, were not keen to let her perform until she turned an adult fearing the effect of stress. Perry she was timid to perform in the school, began performing in theater classes at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new friends. Perry began her career with New York after graduation, getting small roles on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. But homesickness made Perry come back to California and find work as an actress in the theater. Perry performed with her mom in The Other Place at Broadway, back in 2013. In 2015 she performed alongside her father as well as Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning play Anna Christie on the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. In 2016, Perry appeared on nine episodes on ABC's drama The Family. In 2017, she was a part-time character in ABC's political thriller Scandal in which her father was the main character. In the same year, she played a young version of Mary Cooper on Young Sheldon (a CBS spinoff The Big Bang Theory) as her mother in a younger version. The part was offered an audition to the actress, even though she is a relative with the character.
