Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal activist and author who won several prizes. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 1972 are among her most famous movies. She grew up in an artist family from New York and wanted to explore a career in the art. Her first job was as an assistant to photographers. She then moved on to acting and modeling. The first two films she made were noticed, and she was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award of Most Newcomer of the Year. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was a huge hit that brought fame to the world, as well as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. Within three years, MacGraw was ranked as the number one female box-office participant in the entire world. The handprints of her signature, as well as footprints were engraved in 1972 at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Her other credits are The Getaway Convoy Players, the miniseries on TV The Winds of War and other. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw's been married three different occasions.
